The Psychology of Fraud - Rationalizing the Behavior
Through the lens of Freud's Defense Mechanism, rationalization, this workshop will explain the "why" somewhat might commit fraud and mask the truth through a seemingly plausible reason. The presenter and participants will discuss potential "red flags" and explore how auditors can improve professional judgment and critical thinking around this behavior.
